Driven by the longing for a life full of liveliness katze und krieg take off into the world. They neigher know which way they are going to drive nor what ist going to happen. But they have one aim: They are looking for freedom.

For every performance five persons are invited to escort the theatrically performative  van-trip.

Every roadtrip is unique because katze und krieg are always confronted with new situations in puplic space.

The performance was shown during the exhibitions „StadtMachtKunst“ in Hannover (2008) and „Parasit“ in the Satelit in Frankfurt a. M. (2008), as well as on the festival „ARENA...der jungen Künste“ in Erlangen (2009). The work was honored with the audienceaward of the festival.
